Todd Falcone’s SEVEN STEPS TO MENTAL TOUGHNESS

Thank you again for subscribing to Success Tips by Todd Falcone!
As promised, here is your FREE copy of ‘Seven Steps to Mental
Toughness’…a simple guide for developing inner strength and power
to aid you in becoming a top performer.
Mental toughness is critically important for success in business.
Top performing athletes spend their entire careers focusing on
maintaining mental strength because they know it helps them to
raise their overall level of performance. In network marketing,
if you can create and develop mental strength, the chances of
you performing better, maintaining higher productivity and
developing a bigger group are greatly increased.
Mental toughness is what separates a winning athlete from one who
simply remains average. If two athletes have relatively the same
skills, are of the same size, and have the same level of endurance,
who will win? The one with greater mental strength will prevail.
I’m sure you’ve even seen smaller, weaker, slower athletes
miraculously rise to the occasion when faced with an opponent
of greater size, skill and overall ability, yet still win. It’s
the mental toughness that makes the difference.
You’ve probably all heard the story of David and Goliath in the
Bible. Here, a young boy with only a sling and a few stones kills
a nine-foot giant armed with swords, a bronze helmet, and an
armor coat. The giant Goliath basically looked at young David
and laughed at him thinking what a joke it was that such a small
boy would even attempt to fight him. Yet David says to Goliath,
“you come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come
against you in the name of the Lord Almighty. This day the Lord
will hand you over to me, and I’ll strike you down and cut off
your head.”
How is it that someone who is outmanned and outgunned can still win?
It is a superior state of mind that makes the difference. Folks,
you cannot ignore the mental side of the business.
Mental toughness is a combination of learned skills and mindset
techniques that will help you raise the level of your training and
competitive performance, whether it be for athletics or in your
business. Becoming mentally tough is a simple process that
shouldn’t be complicated.
Keep it simple and stick to the basics. Complicating the process
will only make it more difficult to maintain your high level of
toughness. You don’t want to be caught “thinking” about how to be
mentally tough. You simply need to be in that state.
By the way, before I get into the seven steps, I want to give you
a little “food for thought”. I didn’t say seven EASY steps, nor
did I say a QUICK way to mental toughness. There is no quick and
easy route to mental toughness. It is a process, just like
mastering anything in life tends to be.
Here are seven simple steps you can apply beginning right now that
can help you achieve a greater level of mental toughness in your
business:
1. Physical conditioning: If you stay in the game and play
it with regularity, meaning you’re in the field DOING it, you begin
to develop a level of natural toughness that comes with the
territory. If you work your business with regularity and are
taking consistent daily strides forward, you will naturally begin
to develop mental strength. If the abuse keeps coming, you become
thick-skinned and develop calluses…right? Think about that for a
moment. Think in your mind about how a callus is created and the
toughness that comes out as a result of it. It works the same way
on the mental side. If you keep your head and your body in the
game and the same abuse comes your way every day (i.e. rejection,
no shows, canceled orders, downline that quits, etc), you
naturally develop a thicker skin. To get your own copy of the Seven Steps of Mental Toughness from Todd Falcone, Click Here
